Web design and support for non-profits and small business
We recently created a Summer Action Pack at Stop Climate Chaos to help with all the events people have planned for this all important year, leading up to the UN climate talks in Copenhagen.
I decided we should try to make the online version of the pack as engaging and fun as possible knowing a lot of people will refrain from printing it for environmental reasons. I sourced some Flash code that produces this virtual magazine effect, then excused the use of Flash based on the fact we were providing the exact same content in a well formatted, accessible pdf.
The end result seems to have really inspired some of our supporters and we’ve already had a lot of compliments, strangely quite a few on the ‘going to the park’ grass theme and music.
There's a knack to not falling out of the sky, and I'm interested in helping organisations who want to float themselves onto the internet. A lot of the work I do is voluntary, which (I hope) doesn't reflect in the quality, but I am also interested in small ethical business commissions for freelance work.
Pictures paint at least 1000 words (depending how good you are with Photoshop) so why not have a look through my portfolio, and then get in touch if you have a project you'd like me to consider.
