International Parliamentarians for a Free West Papua
In my free time I am building this forum for the Free West Papua campaign using the PHP BBcode template. The infopapua.org site is also a project I am working on redeveloping.

Current and ongoing projects

Polity
I work closely with Polity on a day to day basis and have developed their website into a fully standards compliant, accessibility-friendly, clean-looking, dynamic XHTML site. We are currently building a blog functionality that will allow far more dynamic content, specifically author and user generated content. I have also pioneered the use of microformatting on their site about which I have done a number of presentations. Other related recent microsites for Polity include: Israel / Palestine and Sociology for AS AQA by Ken Browne. I also support all of the other microsites related to Polity publications.
The Student's Companion to Social Policy textsite
This is an example of one of the more recent microsites I built which validates as XHTML 1.0 strict (except for the formatting of the link to the password protected content which I have reported to the technical team who developed that function). Another Blackwell textsite I built recently is www.blackwellpublishing.com/personality.
City Lights Just Burn
This is my current band's website and also serves as a space to experiment with new technologies (hence the old lightbox presentation of the images).
One World Foundation - Nepal
I created this for a grassroots education charity in Nepal. The site is out of date as I have not received any content updates from them for a while because both founding members are studying in the US to greater improve the impact of the NGO when they return to Nepal. I also created a variant of the design for a Nigerian branch that never got off the ground: One World Foundation - Nigeria.

Outdated and archived projects

Unawatuna 2612
An unfinished project for an organisation working to rebuild the Sri Lankan village of 6.028680.2441Unawatuna with the assistance of architect Daniel Libeskind. The organisation was dissolved in 2006 due to lack of funding, so the website is only an initial sketch.
Education Without Boundaries
My design was adopted by this US NGO in 2006 and complimented in an article about them in Cosmopolitan magazine, but was later rebuilt using tables.

Climate Change Bill intro - Ed Miliband - 2008
I end by paying tribute not to those in the House, but to those outside it: those who saw the dangers of climate change and the actions that needed to be taken long before the politicians did. I pay tribute to the scientists who detected the problem, the campaigners who fought to bring it to public attention, the green movement that mobilised for change, and above all, the members of the public who wrote to us in record numbers, asking for a Bill that met the scale of the challenge. I believe that we have met that challenge. We owe them a debt of gratitude for making it happen, and I urge all Members to support the Third Reading.

Autumn leaves

In my lens
"Day after day you watch the sun rise in the east, pass across the sky, then sink in the west, and something breaks inside you and dies. You throw your plough aside and, your head completely empty of thought, you begin walking toward the west. Heading toward a land that lies west of the sun. Like someone possessed, you walk on, day after day, not eating or drinking, until you collapse on the ground and die. That's hysteria siberiana."
